Ideal seat height
For optimal seating comfort, the top of seat cushions should typically be positioned between 18" and 21" from the floor. Heights exceeding this range may prevent some individuals from comfortably resting their feet on the ground. To achieve the desired seating height, construct the platform or bench 14" to 17" above the ground, accommodating a cushion thickness of 2" to 4". This configuration ensures that the final seating height falls within the ideal range of 18" to 22".
Choose Right Color
- For indoor cushion, we recommend choosing neutral tones like black, white, or gray. These low-saturation colors won’t draw unnecessary attention away from the rest of your decor when guests enter the room, unless your home's primary color scheme features a bold, saturated hue.
- For outdoor cushions, we suggest opting for natural tones such as blues, greens, or yellows, which will complement the surrounding natural beauty and seamlessly blend with your outdoor environment.

How thick do I make my custom cushions?
Rulaer cushions are built with a firm 90D high-density foam, providing superior support. For optimal comfort, we recommend a thickness of 3-4 inches. This thickness ensures that you won't feel the chair beneath. The appropriate thickness of the cushion depends on the user's weight: we recommended to use thicker cushions.

It’s amazing!!!
Ordered 2 custom 68"x25.5"x4" bench seat cushions in the Chenelle Blue. They will probably break in a bit with time. I would highly recommend. Price is nice, Great Fabric....about a quarter of the price of local upholstery shops.

Great cushion and customer service!
It is perfect for my dining room bench (I got the 3 in) and the color matches my rug. It is well made and the non-slid material on the bottom is key. I also added the Velcro straps for extra security. I contacted the seller after I placed the order and gave them my exact size.
